OUR MISSION
The mission of Community Church DC is the Great Commission.
[niv] Matthew 28.19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
There are two parts to Jesus’ words in the Great Commission. First, that those who do not know Jesus would enter into a personal relationship with him. The second is learning what it means be a disciple of Christ. We believe this is best done within a community of faith.
KEEPING THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING
Community Church DC is committed to making disciples. To that end we ask three things of every member.
1) Regularly participate in corporate worship.
2) Join a Community Group
3) Serving the Kingdom of God both inside and outside the church.
